With no alternatives, the pioneers began to demonstrate resourcefulness and determination in order to overcome the huge problems they faced in managing a difficult environment with a complete lack of resources and money. In this talk Richard, will trace how, from very humble and difficult beginnings, Western Australia slowly evolved from nothing more than a camp site into a thriving State with all ‘mod cons’ laid on.
