 Anne Brake, Senior Manager Marketing and Community Services for the National Trust spent over 10 years working on the development of the Golden Pipeline Project. She will speak to us on the history of the Goldfields Water Supply Scheme which brought life giving water to the Eastern Goldfields more than 115 years ago in what was then the longest water supply pipeline in the world. Learn how CY O’Connor, engineer of the scheme, achieved his River in the Desert and the controversies that surrounded it.
