Event Type: Ideas Space - What's Art Got to Do with It?
Date: 5/07/2019

Can a nation have a brand much like a can of soup? What is a nation’s brand in the first place? And what’s art got to do with it? As it turns out, it might be plenty. Focusing on South Korea and the ever increasing popularity of the Korean culture of K-pop and K-drama (aka Hallyu or Korean Wave), this talk presented by UniSA’s Associate Professors Richard Lee and You-il Lee will take a light-hearted attempt at answering these questions.
