Science Club - Radical Rainbows and Cool Colours!

Event Type: NONE
Date: 20/12/2016
Start Time: 4:00 PM
End Time: 5:30 PM
Description:
Have you ever wondered why the sky is blue and why it turns red at sunset? Do you know why rainbows appear after a rainy day? The Adelaide City Libraries are partnering with YSA to explore the science of colour! Don your lab coats and find out how scientists use colour to identify chemicals and mixtures, and why mixing colours doesn't always make what you expect. We'll also investigate why the sky can be so many different colours and where rainbows come from. We've got lots of hands-on activities to try to answer all of these questions and more! Make sure to hang around to meet Ollie the Robot once the science has wrapped up.
