 Technology and social media is playing an increasing role in our lives.

Can facebook be used by employers to check your interests? Can facebook be used in court cases? How has facebook been used in family law, civil law and criminal law cases in Australia and other countries to date?

This session will focus on the legal issues around Facebook. The session will also provide information on how to protect your privacy on facebook and the legal action you can take if your privacy is invaded.

Presented by Suncoast Community Legal Service and Sunshine Coast Libraries by Peta Yujnovich, Senior Associate Shultz, Toomey O’Brien Lawyers, this is a must attend session for anyone interested in the legal impacts of social media.
