Virtual Reality (VR) is a technology that allows people to be completely immersed in digital worlds. After decades of research VR is now entering the commercial mainstream, and it is easier to create VR experiences than ever before. This 90 minute workshop presented by the University of South Australia, will show people how to create their own VR scenes using 360 photographs and video. Participants will learn how to capture 360 images and videos and then use web-based tools to create VR experiences that can be viewed on their own mobile devices. The 360 content can be linked together to create compelling stories and rich content experiences. The final experience will be viewed on the low-cost Google Cardboard VR viewers.Library: Adelaide City Digital Hub
